چکیده
Abstract Bioactive peptides are currently emerging as nonpharmacological alternatives for treating noncommunicable diseases, including hypertension. Pharmacological treatments hypertension typically involve angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitors such Captopril and enalapril. This study aimed to evaluate the activity of bioactive derived from food sources against this show its possible mechanism inhibitory action. A comprehensive search was conducted in peptide databases identify with antihypertensive properties. Subsequently, docking studies, simulations, predictive tests assessing ADME parameters, intestinal stability, allergenicity were performed using bioinformatics tools. The simulation results demonstrated that PEP2 exhibited superior ACE1 potential compared other peptides, even though it had lower human absorption. In conclusion, suggests these hold promising nutraceuticals treatment.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of canola bioactive peptides (CBP) produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of canola meal on performance, digestive enzyme activity, nutrient digestibility, gut microflora and intestinal morphology of broiler chickens. A total of 250 one-day-old Ross 308 male broiler chicks were randomly allocated to 5 dietary treatments with 5 replicates of 10 ...
متن کاملBioactive Peptides: A Review
Bioactive peptides have been defined as specific protein fragments that have a positive impact on body functions and conditions and may ultimately influence health [79]. According to Fitzgerald & Murray [46], bioactive peptides have been defined as peptides with hormoneor drug like activity that eventually modulate physiological function through binding interactions to specific receptors on tar...

Milk proteins exert a wide range of nutritional, functional and biological activities. Many milk proteins possess specific biological properties that make these components potential ingredients of health-promoting foods. Increasing attention is being focused on physiologically active peptides derived from milk proteins. These peptides are inactive within the sequence of the parent protein molec...

Several scientific studies have revealed that ingestion of some enzymatic hydrolysates of food proteins, namely, mixtures of peptides, produces various beneficial activities beyond basic nutritional values. Moderation of hypertension and hyperlipidemia is considered as one of these beneficial effects. The emerging market for nutraceuticals and functional foods is stimulating the production of e...
